Dr. Brenda Harris Gooch is the author of a Best-selling book “Unstoppable by Choice,” her autobiography that encourages the reader to persist through any circumstances, follow the process and achieve the promises assured by God. She serves as the Chief Servant of Gooch Enhancement Enterprises (GEE) LLC, developed in 1988, as a business development and training venture. GEE is also the parent organization of Mind and Mouth Ministries, developed in1993, and focuses on spiritual enrichment.

 

She served as the Senior Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church East End (TBCEE) in Newport News, Virginia, for over 13 years and the Church Administrator and Christian Education Department Chairperson for seven years. She retired from the federal government after 30 years with a stellar and progressive career from the lowest ranks to a senior administrator. Her academic career began after high school while a young bride with three children and continued until she earned her Doctor in Ministry degree at the age of 64, believing that no one is ever too old to learn.

 

Brenda has a fulfilling career as a trainer, mentor and personal development coach. She trained military personnel at all ranks, federal civilians at various grade levels, and Christian congregations for over four decades in the areas of leadership, team building, management, program administration, personal and spiritual growth, motivational gifts, personality temperaments, diversity and inclusion. Many of her students achieved notoriety and success in their personal pursuits and attribute their enrichment to her instruction and preparation.

Brenda has led teams at all levels of private and public organizations. She has managed and administered budgets up to six figures without any discrepancies or imbalances. She provides training in financial management and was able to lead her former church to become debt-free within 10 years of purchasing a 7,000 square foot facility valued at over one million dollars.

Brenda relaunched her baby “GEE" in 2023 as her Next. She completed Grant Cardone’s Unbreakable Business Systems training and he became her mentor. She is “10X” ing her business and looks forward to being able to help everyone who wants to live an abundant life.

Brenda is a believer and a visionary. She is the mother of three adult sons, grandmother of four and great-grandmother of three. Her life-long motto is “if I can help somebody as I travel through this life, then my living will not be in vain.” Many have attested to personal and spiritual growth because of her teaching, preaching, mentoring, and coaching. She gives God all the Glory!
